Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026.

In plain language

  • We collect only the high-level details you type into our forms, plus the basic technical logs that keep the site running.
  • Public pages carry no advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or social media pixels.
  • We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
  • Your details are used to reply to you, to judge whether a licensing opportunity is worth preparing, and to build the checklist or assessment you asked for.
  • The readiness checklist sends your description to an AI service to draft the result. We do not publish it.
  • Ask us to see, correct, or delete your information at privacy@authorityinai.com.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what information Authority in AI collects when you visit authorityinai.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the forms and tools we offer through it.

It does not govern a data licensing engagement. Those relationships are set by the written agreements we sign with the companies and buyers we work with.

Information you give us

We design every form to collect high-level information only. Depending on how you use the site, you may provide:

  • Contact and inquiry forms: your name, business email, company, role, and the message or description you choose to include.
  • Data Readiness & Enablement requests: company, contact details, industry, how long you have operated, the kinds of records and systems you mention, the help you are looking for, and any notes you add.
  • Free Assessment responses: your answers to the assessment questions, and your email address if you ask us to send the result or book a review.
  • Readiness Checklist descriptions: the short description you type so we can generate a tailored checklist.
  • Admin accounts: the email address and password for accounts we invite, used only to sign in to the admin area.

Please do not send files, record contents, customer or employee details, patient information, passwords, API keys, or anything else you are not authorized to share.

Information collected automatically

Public pages on this website do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or social media pixels.

When you visit, our hosting provider may record standard technical details such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use those logs to keep the site running and to diagnose problems.

If you sign in to the admin area, a session is stored in your browser so that you stay signed in on that device.

How we use information

  • To reply to your inquiry and schedule a conversation.
  • To understand whether a data licensing opportunity may be worth preparing, and what would be needed.
  • To generate the readiness checklist and assessment result you asked for.
  • To keep a record of our conversations so the right person can follow up.
  • To protect the site, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

How the readiness checklist tool works

When you request a readiness checklist, the description you enter is sent to an artificial intelligence service that drafts the checklist and the list of missing details. We do not publish your description or the checklist anywhere on the site.

The result is preparation guidance. It is not legal advice, a valuation, or an offer.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers: hosting, email, and form delivery providers that process information on our behalf under contract.
  • AI service: the provider that drafts the readiness checklist, as described above.
  • With your direction: for example, when you ask us to prepare an opportunity and share defined details with a prospective buyer under a written agreement.
  • Legal: when we must respond to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, safety, or systems.

Retention

We keep inquiry and readiness information only as long as needed to evaluate a possible engagement and to follow up, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last substantive contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or by an agreement we sign.

Assessment responses are not published. When a result has been delivered, we do not keep the underlying answers tied to your name.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards such as access controls, invited-only admin accounts, and least-privilege roles that limit who can see buyer information.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive record contents through our forms.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to stop contacting you.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no opt-out of sale is required. Residents of other states and regions may have similar rights.

To make a request, email privacy@authorityinai.com or use the Contact page. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

Children

This website is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Visitors outside the United States

We operate in the United States. If you use this website from another country, your information will be processed there.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we revise the date at the top of this page and note material changes on the site.
