Terms of Use
In plain language
- This site is for businesses, not consumers, and is offered as is.
- Nothing here is an offer, a valuation of your company, a buyer commitment, or a guaranteed payout.
- The free assessment estimates potential gross consideration for one defined license only, and only when documented buyer evidence exists.
- Never send files, record contents, personal details, or credentials through our forms.
- Any actual data licensing is governed by a separate written agreement, not by these terms.
- Questions about these terms: legal@authorityinai.com.
Acceptance of these terms
By using authorityinai.com you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
If you use the site on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that business.
Who may use the site
This site is offered for business and professional use. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract.
The admin area is restricted to accounts we invite. Unauthorized access is prohibited.
What we do and do not promise
Authority in AI helps companies understand whether operational records could support a licensing opportunity, and helps AI developers, model builders, and enterprise technology buyers find data for legitimate model development.
Website content is informational. It is not an offer to buy or sell anything, not an appraisal or valuation of your business, not a commitment to enter a transaction, and not a guarantee of any outcome or payment.
A data licensing engagement exists only when the parties sign a written agreement. That agreement sets the rights licensed, permitted uses, exclusivity, retention, security obligations, and compensation.
Not professional advice
Content on this site, including guides, readiness checklists, and assessment output, is general information. It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, or compliance advice, and using the site does not create a professional-client relationship.
Consult a qualified professional about your own situation before you act.
The free assessment
The assessment produces an internal readiness score and, where there is enough documented buyer evidence, an indicative range of potential gross consideration for one defined data license.
A range appears only when we hold a defensible benchmark, such as three or more documented comparable buyer quotes or completed deals, or a written buyer indication for your opportunity. Where evidence is missing, or where rights or sensitive-data questions are unresolved, the tool shows no range.
The output is not a company valuation, not a firm offer, and not a promise that a buyer will pay. Reference codes we issue to a company are personal to that recipient and may expire. They do not create an agreement.
The readiness checklist
The checklist is drafted with an artificial intelligence service from the description you enter. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation.
Treat it as a starting point for preparation, not as legal advice and not as a determination of your rights.
Your submissions
You are responsible for what you submit. Confirm that you are authorized to share it and that it does not include information you are not permitted to disclose.
- Do not submit files, databases, or record contents.
- Do not submit personal information, patient or health records, customer details, employee files, payment data, passwords, API keys, or credentials.
- Do not submit information subject to a confidentiality obligation, a court order, or a restriction that prohibits this use.
We may remove or ignore submissions that do not follow these rules.
